Global markets rebounded in Q2, with the S&P 500, Nasdaq and ASX 200 all closing at all-time highs, signalling renewed confidence in equity markets.

Mid-market deals remain resilient despite geopolitical uncertainty and tariff risks — with many acquirers continuing to adopt a business-as-usual mindset.

Interest from international buyers continues to be a key theme, with approximately half of the reported M&A transactions involving cross-border acquirers. Local private equity players also remained active, with both funds and PE-backed platforms continuing to deploy capital.
