Equiteq is founded by Paul Collins after the sale of his consulting company to private equity, specifically aiming to provide better strategic advisory and investment banking services to consulting and technology firms.
From its inception, Equiteq positions itself as a specialist in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for knowledge-based businesses. The firm develops a reputation for deep sector expertise, hands-on support, and a collaborative approach to transactions. Building on early success, Equiteq begins expanding internationally, growing its team and client base to support cross-border M&A transactions for firms in the sector. David Jorgenson joins to head up North America expansion, and becomes Global CEO.
