Equiteq, a global boutique investment bank for IT Services, technology and specialty consulting companies, is pleased to announce exceptional progress in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, marked by a series of high-profile transactions, senior leadership appointments, and the opening of a new office in India.

Despite a turbulent global market backdrop, Equiteq closed ten transactions in APAC in the last twelve months, reflecting the strength of its advisory model and deep client relationships.

The firm’s momentum has been driven in part by its deep sector expertise, and unique blend of strong on-the-ground leadership and global reach.

Looking ahead, the team will focus on key opportunities emerging in areas such as AI-powered technology applications and services, cybersecurity, data platforms, sustainability-driven consulting, and cross-border consolidation, aligning with client demand and evolving market dynamics.

To support its growth ambitions, Equiteq APAC is officially opening an office in India, based out of Bangalore, with the objective to turbo-charge its growth advising global clients with a significant Indian presence or operations.

India is a key market for us, and opening an office is the next logical step for Equiteq following several market-defining transactions, including the sale of Niveus Solutions to NTT Data earlier this year.  We believe we are best positioned to offer premium services to our clients with the perfect combination of true-blue global presence and intimate knowledge of the local market and regulation,” said Sylvaine Masson, Managing Director – Head of APAC at Equiteq.

With the official opening planned for later this year, we have ambitions to hire and onboard key people on the ground by the year end. This is an exciting time for the team!” added Arun Nayak, Managing Director.

We’re excited to see the growth we’re seeing across the APAC region — not only in volume but in the quality and innovation behind it. Sectors like cloud infrastructure, healthtech, and advanced engineering are evolving rapidly, and our clients are at the center of that transformation. We’re proud to be their partner as they scale,” added David Jorgenson, CEO at Equiteq
