Jean-Louis has a background of more than 30 years in finance, M&A and consulting, particularly in the domains of professional services, IT and high-tech, as well as in-depth experience of Asia-Pacific.
Jean-Louis leverages his M&A expertise in professional services and IT, both on the sell side and on the buy side, as well as his personal experience of both large corporate organisations and smaller, owner-managed developing firms, to help companies attain “investor-readiness” grade, and either get ready for a liquidity event, or first go through a preparatory phase where they maximize their potential in terms of market positioning, growth and profitability. In addition, Jean-Louis’s extensive experience of multi-national and cross-cultural projects is particularly valuable in Asia-Pacific.
Jean-Louis started his career in engineering, audit and finance, before joining international IT services and consulting group Capgemini and becoming SVP, Corporate Development, in charge of M&A. He moved to Singapore in 1996 to launch Capgemini Asia, before creating in 2000 a company specializing in business information solutions and eLearning, which expanded into South-East Asia, India, Australia and Europe. After its sale, Jean-Louis launched ITVEST Consulting, a firm specializing in business development and corporate development, conducting strategic projects for international clients developing their activities in Asia, particularly M&A and market entry strategy implementation.
