Giovanni is an Associate in Equiteq's European team, and he is mainly responsible for project managing various aspects of M&A transactions, including valuation and data modelling analysis, marketing materials preparation and M&A participants’ coordination.

Experience

Prior to joining Equiteq in 2021, Giovanni was at the London branch of Mediobanca, Italy’s leading investment bank, where he served as an M&A analyst within the Financial Sponsor Group team, covering transactions involving private equity firms. He was directly involved in the buy-side advisory to Bain Capital for the acquisition of Engineering Group, a leading specialist provider of IT services, software development and digital platforms. Prior joining Mediobanca, Giovanni worked in M&A at Ermgassen & Co (later acquired by Afry Capital) and at KPMG in Milan, Italy.

Giovanni holds a Master of Science in Corporate Finance from Bayes (formerly Cass) Business School. Having grown up in Italy, he is fluent in English and Italian.
