Equiteq is pleased to announce the successful transaction between Align Capital Partners (“ACP”) and its client Cleartelligence (or the “Company”), a data engineering and analytics consulting firm focused on helping enterprise clients envision, design and implement solutions that solve complex business problems. The Company leverages strategic partnerships with various technology platforms including Snowflake, Tableau, Alteryx, Fivetran, Dbt, Databricks and others to serve clients across several end markets including life sciences, pharma, healthcare and manufacturing.
Since its founding in 2011 by Managing Partners Joe Marino and Ron Keler, Cleartelligence has built a diverse team of over functional and technical experts dedicated to helping clients identify business insights and drive digital transformation using the modern data stack. The Company’s Co-Founders, along with shareholder and Managing Partner Anil Bharadwa, will remain significant investors and continue to serve as leaders of Cleartelligence post-close.
“We were looking for an investment partner who shared our vision for the future and is well suited to help us accelerate the growth of Cleartelligence,” said Marino. “Align Capital Partners’ relevant consulting services experience and track record of providing growth resources and execution of robust add-on acquisition strategies complements the deep technical and domain expertise of our team.”
“This is an important milestone for everyone at Cleartelligence. With this partnership, our customers can expect the same leading service experience from our highly engaged team, but with additional resources to help us best serve our customers and their ever-evolving needs,” added Keler.
“The authenticity and passion of the Align team stood out as a great cultural fit to our team of data experts,” Bharadwa said. “We’re energized by the opportunity ahead of us given the growing demand for cloud-based solutions to help organizations tackle the proliferation and usage of data.”
Regarding Equiteq’s involvement in the transaction, Marino, Keler and Bharadwa commented “Equiteq’s role started with us long before embarking on an M&A process. The team showed themselves to be reliable, trusted advisors and provided strategic guidance that ensured we were prepared for a transaction when the time was right. Furthermore, the Equiteq team ran a highly-effective process that provided significant optionality - ensuring that we found a partner that could help us achieve our financial, strategic and operational goals. We are excited to embark on the next phase of Cleartelligence’s growth and extremely pleased that we are taking this journey with Align Capital Partners.”
Adam Tindall, Managing Director and Head of North America at Equiteq, added “Joe, Ron and Anil have built an extremely unique and valuable business that is set to solidify its position as a leading player in the data and analytics space. It has been a pleasure to work with the Cleartelligence team and we are thrilled with the result that we were able to help them achieve.”
