Markets finished CY25 strongly, with the S&P 500, Nasdaq and ASX 200 closing near record highs. M&A activity across Technology Services and Specialty Consulting was robust in CY25, particularly in cybersecurity and managed services, with several landmark transactions completed.
Cross-border interest remained a key theme, with around half of CY25 transactions involving international acquirers. Several offshore buyers entered the Australian market for the first time, attracted by resilient economic fundamentals and Australia’s position as a gateway to Asia. Domestic private equity firms were also active, executing both platform and bolt-on acquisitions.
