Equiteq, the leading M&A firm in the Knowledge Economy, today announced changes to its organizational model to continue to provide differentiated, insight-driven advice that delivers the best transaction outcomes for its global client base.
As a result of the significant demand for buy-side origination services, Equiteq has decided to spin off its Buy-side Strategic Origination practice into a new company to be called Artemis Origination. It will be led by Paul Dondos, previously Managing Director of Global Buyside, Strategic Origination and Market Intelligence at Equiteq.
David Jorgenson, Chief Executive Officer of Equiteq explains, “Our new organizational structure is a step-change to focus on Equiteq’s core purpose and mission to advise entrepreneurs and investors in successfully executing M&A deals with the best outcomes. By focusing our global platform on our core M&A services, we will be able to offer our clients the best-in-class insight and advice focused on M&A transactions in the Knowledge Economy. We’ll be able to align and invest in our teams in realizing our goal to become the definitive global leader for M&A in the Knowledge Economy.”
The restructuring came into effect on 2 May, 2022.
Jorgenson further comments, “We look forward to seeing our former colleagues continuing their growth trajectory as a fully independent entity. This separation allows for each company to have the flexibility to implement its own unique growth strategies and processes to meet clients’ needs.”
Paul Dondos, CEO of Artemis Origination comments: “We are excited at the opportunity we now have to grow and proliferate this service independently at Artemis Origination.”
