Experience
Akshay joined Equiteq in 2025, having previously worked in Grant Thornton UK's Corporate Finance team in the UK, where he advised on mid-market M&A deals across multiple sectors. He began his career at EY in 2013 as an ACA trainee, building a strong foundation in financial reporting and analysis. While at EY London, he was instrumental in the audit of Cazoo Inc during its SPAC listing on the NYSE, making it the most valuable UK company to list on Wall Steet at that time with a market capitalisation of $8 billion. Akshay is a dual-qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAl and ICAEW) and has cleared CFA Level 1.
