James is an Associate on Equiteq's M&A team. He works across the entire transaction lifecycle – from initial value optimization through deal execution – helping clients achieve successful outcomes.

James has extensive experience in M&A and capital markets, advising public and private companies on buy-side and sell-side engagements in both healthy and distressed situations.
Experience
Prior to Equiteq, James began his career in FinTech consulting before completing the analyst program at Raymond James. He then went on to join Objective Capital Partners where he advised clients across the Technology, Consumer, and Industrial sectors.
James studied Mathematics and Economics at Bowdoin College, and was elected captain of the varsity lacrosse team.

James grew up in the suburbs of Boston with three siblings and 26 cousins. He enjoys an active lifestyle, and loves skiing in the winter, and spending time with friends and family on Cape Cod in the summer.
