Sam is an Associate in Equiteq's Atlanta office and has extensive experience supporting clients through the full M&A lifecycle.

Sam has extensive experience in M&A, including sell-side, buy-side, and growth equity financings. He leverages his technical skills, financial acumen and transactional experience to help clients realize and maximize equity value. Sam possesses strong business development, deal execution and advisory capabilities, and his project management experience helps create a smooth transaction process

Experience

Prior to joining Equiteq, Sam was an Associate on the Tech Services team at Citizens bank where he supported founder-led and sponsor-backed companies with transaction execution and valuation services across the middle market. Before Citizens Bank, Sam was a Manager in the International Tax Quantitative Solutions group at PwC.

Sam holds a BBA in Banking & Finance degree from the University of Georgia and a Masters of Science in Accountancy degree from Texas A&M. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Sam and his wife, Julia, live in Atlanta with their two boys, Win and Julian. Sam's primary passion is music, whether playing (drums, synthesizers and guitar) or listening and collecting vinyl records from across the independent music scene. He is also a devoted fan of college football (Georgia Bulldogs) and the NHL (New York Rangers).
