As a Managing Director at Equiteq, Simon is responsible for all aspects project managing M&A transactions, and delivering successful outcomes for clients across the ANZ and wider APAC region. Simon brings 15+ years of experience advising technology and technology-services companies on cross border strategic M&A, capital raising and private equity transactions. Simon is an ACA qualified chartered accountant and has worked extensively across Europe, North America and APAC markets.

Experience

Simon is an ACA qualified chartered accountant and brings 15+ years of experience working with and advising clients on cross border strategic M&A, capital raising and private equity transactions, across Europe, North America and APAC markets
From a technology perspective, Simon has significant expertise within cybersecurity, digital engineering, cloud transformation and data verticals, as well as BFSI, life sciences and healthcare from an industry perspective. Simon has a deep knowledge and understanding of these ecosystems, and holds strong relationships with key global acquirers and investors active in these segments
Prior to joining Equiteq, Simon has worked within the M&A deal advisory team at Mazars in the UK, and more recently TH Global Capital, where he relocated from London to Melbourne in 2023 to set up and lead their APAC business.
