ANZ IT Services & Management Consulting Report Q2 2023

While average M&A deal values in IT & Management Consulting sector have decreased due to an absence of large, debt-funded deals, M&A volumes have remained relatively stable with the mid-market showing resilience. Equiteq ANZ advised on two cross-border transactions this quarter and there are some notable transactions underway which are a testament to the continuing strong appetite for companies in the mid-market space.

The overall outlook for FY24 is cautiously optimistic with some commentators saying interest rates are near their peak and unemployment levels near record lows.
